It's easy to add subtle injections of turquoise to re-fresh the look of your home and keep right up to date with the latest colour trends. Whilst this colour adds a touch of cool sophistication to your home it may not be cost effective to carry out a complete make-over of your rooms.
Lounges:
By simply changing your lounge curtains to either plain turquoise or a patterned fabric which has turquoise incorporated into it. Full length ready made curtains are inexpensive and can instantaneously alter the look and feel of your lounge. Add further touches of turquoise with cushions, vases and fruit bowls.
Kitchens:
Once again the easiest way to alter the look of your kitchen is the window dressing. Opt for curtains or blinds which have turquoise within them. Remember that turquoise has many different shades and hues the same as any other colour. This enables you to add chic styling without every room looking the same!
Dinning areas:
Curtains once again are top of the list or alternatively you could simply change or add curtain tiebacks in turquoise. Cream or beige curtains with turquoise beaded tiebacks will offer a touch of refinement at your windows. You could also use wipe clean fabric to make in-trend table runners. Add the same style and shade of tassel or beaded tiebacks to bring a sense of balance to the room.
Bedrooms:
Cheap duvet sets which include turquoise are the obvious choice. Look for bedding sets which have coordinating ready made bedroom curtains to rejuvenate a tired looking bedroom quickly and effectively.
Bathrooms:
Turquoise is a great colour to use in bathrooms as the colour is reminiscent of beautiful oceanic colours which remind us of balmy holidays relaxing under clear blue skies, just the tonic and pick-me-up needed to start the day or in which to unwind at the end of the day. Add other injections of turquoise with perfume bottles and other pretty objects which remind you of holidays and relaxing!
From the prettiest feminine lighter shades of turquoise as seen in the mineral and semi-precious gemstone, to the deeper teal shades which provide a sophisticated look, along with the brighter hues having a retro 50s and 60s look, turquoise is a colour which represents both genders and is therefore an ideal colour to use in any room of your home with ease.
